KIM BAUER CHOLET (Jazz)

Kim Bauer Cholet is a free jazz / free improvisation trio exploring sound as movement, season, and moment. Three strong voices meet at the edge of form and freedom. Their music unfolds through deep listening, spontaneous structure, and raw physical energy, where density and silence, friction and flow coexist. For this performance, the trio presents a two-part set: Spring Step One and Spring Step Two. Rather than compositions in the traditional sense, these are open frameworks, sonic steps into spring. The music traces the corners of the season: the hesitant warmth, the cracking of frozen ground, sudden bursts of life, and fragile, shifting air. Sounds emerge, collide, dissolve, and reappear, guided by intuition rather than fixed direction. Kim Bauer Cholet creates a free atmosphere where spring is not described, but happens, moment by moment, breath by breath.
